CAP 691 - Red Fire (C.chinense)

CAP 691 from Institute of Plant genetics and Cultivated Plant research (IPK) di Gatersleben (Germany).
The most relevant property is the anthers color; although the plants look like a true C.chinense, anthers are yellow, not purple like expected. This is a very strange feature; maybe the plants is hybridized with one of the species with yellow anthers which easily cross with C.chinense, that is C.chacoense or C.galapagoense.
Plant grew about 1 m high, with a lot of branches, bright green leaves and small greenish flowers.
Each node hold up to four flowers and pods.
Pods are small and roundish, about 6-8 mm in diameter; colour is light green when immature and ripen to orange and finally bright red.
Pods are quite hot and have a good, almost sweet taste and a strong chinense-like smell.
